On one of the hottest days in October 2025, a small box was found near the side of a road containing four newborn kittens, their umbilical cords still fresh. They had been dumped to face the world alone.
A kind-hearted community passerby stepped in and brought them to safety.
What followed was nothing short of extraordinary.

Under the careful guidance of our beautiful lead vet, their health and nutrition were always a top priority.
Like all babies, their journey wasn’t without challenges, tummy troubles, bouts of diarrhoea, a touch of ringworm yet they faced each hurdle with the unwavering support of the team behind them.

Our incredible team took these fragile lives into their own hands, quite literally. Around-the-clock feeds every two hours, gentle toileting, constant warmth, and watchful care just as you would for any newborn. Sleep was scarce, but determination was endless.
With a laugh and a touch of creativity, the team named each kitten to tell them apart as they were weighed, fed, and monitored closely.

“Every paw deserves a chance to dance.”
Growing Up
As they grew strong and 4 months had passed, their next chapter began….
It was time to find their forever homes. Their story was shared far and wide. They even made a few charming café appearances for some “extra exposure” (and yes, perhaps a coffee or two along the way!).

We are thrilled to share, two of the little ones Toby and Maddy found a home together, Mathew is now thriving in his new home in Chatswood, and Eevee…well, Eevee found her way into the heart of one of our very own nurses. Reportedly already a seasoned traveler, hopping on car and bus rides with ease and still popping into the clinic in her special carrier to say hello.
Now, 6 months old, they’ve all returned for their vaccinations and desexing and what a transformation!
From tiny, vulnerable beginnings to thriving, playful kittens, their journey is one we’ll never forget.

Best Wishes
We wish these beautiful babies and their new families a lifetime of love and happiness. Stories like this remind us just how special this work is. When you have a team who care so deeply for animals and for each other there’s truly, nothing more rewarding!
